About The Position

Chesapeake Electric is seeking a high-performance Talent Acquisition Lead to enthusiastically recruit and hire top-tier service technicians. This is not a passive recruiting role. This is a sales-driven, performance-based position where success is measured by one thing: 👉 Hires. The ideal candidate is competitive, relentless, and thrives in high-activity environments. You are comfortable reaching out, following up, and closing candidates who are not actively looking and may initially ignore you.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume outbound recruiting through calls, texts, social platforms, and resume databases
  • Build and manage a consistent pipeline of technician candidates
  • Relentlessly follow up with applicants, no-shows, and “thinking about it” candidates
  • Conduct phone screens and position Chesapeake Electric as a career move
  • Drive urgency and secure interviews within 24–48 hours
  • Ensure candidates show up prepared and committed
  • Partner with leadership to move candidates quickly through the hiring process
  • Track activity, pipeline, and hiring metrics weekly
  • Continuously improve outreach strategies based on result
