About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Human Resources Business Partner role at American Eagle Outfitters is focused on leading the internal and external talent acquisition processes to support the company's strategic goals. This position is responsible for ensuring effective recruitment and retention of talent for a high-volume distribution center, while also providing HR support and executing people and culture initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a high-volume, light industrial work setting.
  • Ability to manage multiple strategic business priorities concurrently.
  • Strong strategic, innovative, logical, and objective thinking skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and team player skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the internal and external recruitment process, coordinating candidate assessments and guiding supervisors through the selection process.
  • Research and investigate new ideas and channels for innovative sourcing strategies, maintaining a strong network of contacts.
  • Build campus presence at local colleges and develop partnerships with universities and the community.
  • Execute the temp-to-hire process with contingent labor vendors for successful conversion of associates.
  • Drive a metrics and goal-oriented recruitment approach, communicating benefits to senior leadership.
  • Assess the current labor market and identify opportunities for untapped talent.
  • Own the new hire experience from initial contact to successful onboarding, ensuring retention support.
  • Assist distribution center associates with questions regarding policies, benefits, and associate relations, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Encourage two-way communication and reinforce the Open Door Policy of American Eagle Outfitters.
  • Promote and maintain high associate morale and safety, supporting a fun work environment.
