About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator (Contract) provides critical operational and coordination support across the recruiting lifecycle at Iambic Therapeutics. This role partners closely with the Talent Acquisition lead, HR team, and Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth, efficient, and compliant hiring process. The coordinator is responsible for interview scheduling and logistics, candidate communications, system updates, and pre-hire coordination, helping keep searches moving forward while delivering a strong candidate experience. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced recruiting environment and is comfortable managing multiple priorities. This position is based in our San Diego headquarters and will support both onsite and virtual interview coordination.

Requirements

  • 1–3+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR operations, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume scheduling with strong attention to detail and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Ashby experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and follow-through
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate complex interview schedules across multiple stakeholders, calendars, and time zones to ensure an efficient, organized interview process
  • Ensure interview details, confirmations, and schedule changes are communicated clearly and promptly to candidates and interviewers
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates regarding scheduling, interview logistics, and next steps
  • Send timely, professional candidate communications using approved templates and systems
  • Maintain a consistent and positive candidate experience throughout the interview process
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and interview data within the applicant tracking system
  • Ensure interview scheduling workflows and documentation remain current and organized
  • Support recruiting operations through tracking, reporting, and system updates as needed
  • Support pre-hire activities, including background checks, references, and start-date coordination
  • Partner with HR and Hiring Managers to ensure a smooth transition from offer acceptance to onboarding
  • Track and escalate risks or delays that may impact start dates or hiring timelines
  • Support improvements to recruiting coordination processes as the company continues to scale
