What We Do We're seeking a personable, professional and versatile, Talent Acquisition Coordinator responsible for supporting the staffing needs within our energetic, high volume, Talent Acquisition team! We’re all about strategies that attract top talent for assigned client groups for First American and in this role, you will facilitate the staffing functions to the overall recruitment team, working with Human Resource Business Partners, our Hiring Managers and most importantly, our Candidates joining the First American team by guiding them through the hiring process, gathering information, all while supporting the Recruiters in their efforts to fill multiple open positions through regular tracking and reporting on metrics.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or similar/equivalent experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition or Recruiting Coordinator or in similar role
  • Demonstrated administrative skills and ability to multi-task in a complex business environment; excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with internal HR staff and all employee levels within the organization
  • Exceptional customer service focus
  • Takes initiative and accountability to ensure tasks are done on time and complete
  • Ability to use technology, tools and processes to stay highly organized
  • Must be self-motivated, highly detailed and organized, able to take initiative to make or adapt to changes
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, applicant tracking system experience – preferably Workday

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain the hiring process with active involvement in recruitment activities
  • Create and manage job requisitions and postings, coordinate background checks and drug screens, employee referral program, and create offer letters, administer relocation program, process new hire paperwork and prepare new hire packages
  • Assist in facilitating the hiring process by interacting with HR staff and management, recruiters, hiring managers, internal and external applicants/candidates and other areas of HR as needed
  • May assist with college recruiting program and employment/immigration activities
  • Tracks and inputs data for various HR functions such as applicant tracking, requisition activity reporting, and HRIS/payroll system processing
  • Handle high volume of phone and on-site interview scheduling requests in a timely manner
  • Manage and facilitate the hiring process with candidates with frequent touch points
  • Arrange travel and hotel accommodations for candidates
  • Preserve confidential information such as offer letters, compensation data, and candidate information with a high degree of integrity and judgment
