The Bay Minette team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our team! This person will support our hiring initiatives throughout the recruiting process with crucial tasks such as: scheduling interviews, and providing best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experiences, and more.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR/Recruiting Coordinator, Administrative Assistant, or Customer Service role supporting multiple individuals, or an equivalent combination of higher education.
  • Experienced with calendaring using MS Outlook or similar tool.
  • Proven skills with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with candidates and personnel at all levels of the organization, both oral and written.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and demonstrable ability to navigate priorities effectively.
  • Self-starter, attention to detail, focus, and commitment.
  • Professional discretion and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business Administration, Administration Management, or similar.
  • HR or Talent Acquisition experience is preferred.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Previous experience using an ATS (iCIMS or similar) to manage requisitions, pull data and resumes for interview scheduling, talent communities, communication, and data insights.
  • Knowledge of SmartSheet forms and spreadsheets is helpful, but not vital.
  • Previous experience using Textio or other AI tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for activities critical to ensure Novelis acquires top-notch talent efficiently and in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Handle interview scheduling requests using calendaring skills to schedule timely interviews with attention to details.
  • Prioritize requests and toggle between multiple software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, iCIMS, Smartsheet, and Textio.
  • Create new job requisitions and post jobs to internal and external portals using iCIMS while ensuring job descriptions adhere to standard formatting and diversity and inclusion standards.
  • Manage invoices.
  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers, HRBPs, candidates, and other internal customers to assist with onsite logistics and travel for interviews.
  • Support career events by coordinating preparation, materials, and logistics.
  • Aid in sourcing and identifying top talent by partnering with Talent Acquisition Specialists.
  • Bring a creative mindset with problem-solving abilities to navigate ambiguous situations and offer solutions or improvements.
