About The Position

This role is primarily responsible for scheduling interviews and providing administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, Hiring Managers and Candidates. Schedule phone, video or in-person interviews for various positions across all North America sites. Communicate, via phone and email, directly with candidates and site HR team members to coordinate interviews, assist with applications, and respond to inquiries. Perform administrative tasks including initiation, tracking and follow-up on background checks, scheduling and tracking of post-offer drug tests and physical examinations. Escalate discrepancies or candidate issues to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor or Specialist. Track, monitor and follow-up on tasks to ensure completion and update the applicant tracking system, as required, to reflect real time status changes. Partner with the Travel department and candidate to coordinate travel arrangements. Responsible for generating routine reports. Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One (1) year of experience in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources or Executive Coordination
  • Experience using Outlook or a similar tool for scheduling
  • Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency when supporting multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of common recruiting processes, procedures and sourcing techniques

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to travel and support on-campus recruiting activities during peak season up to 50% of the time
  • Ability to travel and attend conferences and events year-round as needed
  • Ability to work onsite in the Phoenix, AZ offices as needed to coordinate and oversee inventory ordering and shipment processes
  • Experience using an ATS or CRM, preferably SAP SuccessFactors
  • Intermediate level experience working with Excel
  • Experience generating recruiting reports and metrics
  • Broad knowledge of Freeport-McMoRan
