About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Consultant is responsible for talent acquisition activities including sourcing, recruiting, screening, interviewing and recommendations for external and/or internal candidates for all level jobs. We work to attract and engage a high performing, diverse workforce through full life cycle recruitment for all job levels, inclusive of strategic sourcing, screening, interviewing and candidate recommendations. Our team supports divisional talent acquisition efforts as a thought partner on matters related to recruitment strategy, tactics, industry and workforce trends, and hiring best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirements include a college or university degree in related field.
  • Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full cycle recruitment across the Biological Sciences Division.
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring managers to ascertain business requirements and build a strategic recruitment plan.
  • Provide strategic and tactical expertise for full cycle talent acquisition.
  • Develop structured interview materials for candidate interviews and maintain appropriate documentation.
  • Present candidate feedback to hiring managers and advise on candidates' strengths and recommendations.
  • Create exceptional candidate experience from initial contact to extending an offer.
  • Research best practices and market trends; author strategic resources and training aides.
  • Manage University talent pipeline project utilizing various tools including Workday Recruiting and LinkedIn.
  • Develop innovative candidate sourcing strategies such as social media and networking.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion efforts to recruit diverse applicant pools.
  • Network throughout the University and its affiliated organizations.
  • Manage and maintain the applicant tracking system and assist hiring managers.
  • Provide consultation to hiring units to ensure University policies and procedures are applied appropriately.
  • Mentor, coach, and oversee the work of less senior team members.
  • Develop plans for and represent the University at various recruitment and educational institution career fairs.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to recruit diverse applicant pools.
  • Communicate University policies and procedures to hiring managers through routine meetings.
