We are looking to add a Talent Acquisition Consultant to join our Talent & Culture team in Waukee, IA. This role will assist with the evolution of Holmes Murphy's talent acquisition strategy and recruiting efforts for assigned positions and line of business, in alignment with the organization's overall talent needs. Requirements

  • High school diploma; college degree in Human Resources or Business-related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the recruiting field required.
  • Experience with Human Resource management, recruiting and onboarding programs, practices and strategies.
  • Excellent computer skills with HRIS systems and a high proficiency in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant, Talent & Culture Business Partners, and business leaders to define talent needs for all level roles, as part of the broader workforce plan, managing an active pipeline, sourcing and recruiting in all locations.
  • Maintain an active sourcing pipeline of proactive candidates for current and upcoming jobs using LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Draft, and post job requisitions, identify appropriate recruiting and interviewing practices, review resumes, schedule and conduct online/in-person interviews, inform candidates of status, draft offer letters, and monitor the background check process.
  • Consult with Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant, Talent & Culture Business Partners and hiring managers regarding interview recommendations and hiring decisions.
  • Create offer letter documents, extend/negotiate offers and keep candidates informed of status.
  • Onboarding responsibilities: Monitor background check process, send new hire notifications, launch new hires into the onboarding portal with necessary documentation, complete E-Verify process, and communicate necessary first day information to new hires.
  • Partner with leaders to coordinate site-specific recruiting opportunities.
