About The Position

The Talent Acquisition Assistant is an entry-level, full-time, onsite role that supports a fast-paced hospital recruiting environment. This position provides administrative, clerical, and sourcing support to an assertive and results-driven Talent Acquisition (TA) team. The Talent Acquisition Assistant plays a critical role in ensuring an efficient, compliant, and candidate-focused recruitment process while gaining hands-on exposure to the full talent acquisition lifecycle. This role is based onsite Monday through Friday and is ideal for individuals seeking to build a long-term career in Talent Acquisition within a high-volume healthcare setting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED, required.
  • Secretarial training, clerical and previous office experience, required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, required.
  • Demonstrates positive interpersonal and effective communications skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business or a related field.
  • Previous experience in health care recruitment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties in support of the Talent Acquisition department.
  • Source candidates for assigned job openings using job boards, applicant tracking systems, referrals, and other recruiting tools.
  • Screen candidates to ensure minimum qualifications are met prior to advancing in the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and track interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and next steps as appropriate.
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition Specialists, hiring managers, facility Human Resources staff, senior leadership, and external vendors.
  • Assist with employment offers, pre-employment processes, and onboarding coordination as needed.
  • Support compliance with organizational recruiting standards, policies, and applicable employment laws.
  • Prepare reports, track recruitment activity, and assist with audit requests as assigned.
  • Participate in recruiting initiatives, hiring events, and process improvement efforts.
