About The Position

Goldey-Beacom College is seeking a new team member to work as a part-time Talent Acquisition and Management Coordinator. The holder of this staff position is responsible for supporting the recruitment process, managing candidate data and enhancing the overall candidate experience. The holder of this position will also assist in the development, implementation and administration of talent management initiatives including onboarding, employee development and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Two (2) years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist different departments within the College in recruiting suitable candidates for open positions.
  • Facilitate and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with department supervisors to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the College.
  • Assist with job postings and advertisement processes.
  • Screen applications and select qualified candidates.
  • Schedule and conduct interviews; oversee preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attend and participate in HR events as needed.
  • Assess and communicate employee feedback regarding needs and concerns, as appropriate, to promote community cohesion and improved culture.
  • Coordinate and support all HR aspects of the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program, Clery and Biennial review.
  • Lead the College’s participation in the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) surveys and the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) Human Resources survey.
  • Establish annual training plan and coordinate all required employee training at the College, including training on Title IX, Clery Act, sexual harassment, and other topics overseen by this position.
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, or consultation with supervisors.
  • Assist the Director of Human Resources in developing, initiating and maintaining effective training and development programs for employee retention, promotion and succession planning.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects.
