About The Position

As a Talent Acquisition Advisor within UL's Global Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence, you will play a key role in managing the full-cycle recruitment process in close collaboration with hiring managers, HR partners, and fellow TA professionals. Your focus will be on proactively identifying and engaging innovative, collaborative, and knowledgeable talent across the U.S. and occasionally internationally. You'll guide candidates through each stage of the hiring journey, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience. As a subject matter expert in recruitment strategy, candidate engagement, and pipeline development, you'll leverage your deep understanding of hiring needs to connect top talent with roles where they can thrive. This hybrid role is based in Northbrook, Illinois, with an expectation of working onsite three days per week. Your primary focus will be recruiting for Corporate functions, including Finance, Administration, and Legal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct recruitment experience, partnering with hiring managers and candidates to deliver a high-quality, end-to-end candidate experience.
  • Proven expertise in direct and passive candidate sourcing, including the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and social media tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.

Nice To Haves

  • A background in Finance or experience working closely with financial teams is a strong plus.
  • Experience recruiting for Corporate functions such as Finance, Administration, and Legal is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Oracle Recruitment Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize both standard and creative sourcing strategies to identify top talent and find qualified candidates (passive and active).
  • Review resumes and assess candidate applications, pre-screen candidates, submit candidates to hiring managers, prepare candidates for interviews, extend offers, and onboard candidates.
  • Network, build, and maintain relationships with Candidates, HR, and Hiring Managers.
  • Maintain a network of candidates using the company's applicant tracking system and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Partner with hiring managers to thoroughly understand the technical skills and critical success factors/abilities.
  • Evaluate recruitment processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies from the application to hire process.
  • Adjust recruitment strategy as needed to ensure optimized results.
  • Provide regular metric-based reporting on search progression including candidates in pipeline, leads, interviews, offers, and hires.
