About The Position

As a Takeout person at Nifty Fifty's, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and exceptional service. Your role is crucial in ensuring that customers have a positive experience while ordering food to go, reflecting our commitment to quality and service excellence. You will be responsible for managing orders, accommodating special requests, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace, all while embodying our core values of respect, excellence, and service with a smile.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle food safely and follow hygiene standards
• Experience with POS systems is a plus
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in the food service industry
• Knowledge of food allergies and dietary restrictions

Responsibilities

• Greet and say goodbye to all customers as they are at the register and on the phone
• Accommodate any special needs to guests (food allergies, requests, etc.)
• Present menu options, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food
• Take customer orders by writing them down and entering orders into the POS system
• Wrap food according to Nifty Fifty's procedures
• Follow takeout procedures to ensure guests receive all requested items (condiments, utensils, side orders, etc.)
• Check off all items as you bag the food to go
• Maintain a clean and organized area (condiments, napkins, comment cards, etc.)
• Manage all delivery and online ordering platforms
• Present guest checks to each guest and accept approved form of payment
• Make correct change or complete the proper charge card procedure
• Thank patrons and kindly invite them back for future dining
• Clean counter and floors as needed
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning projects
• Assist management with additional tasks as needed
