About The Position

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in tailoring or alterations.
• Thorough knowledge of basic sewing machines used in alterations.
• Proficient in sewing and garment construction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Professional appearance and manner.

Responsibilities

• Make adjustments to men's suits, shirts, coats, blazers, and trousers.
• Shorten/lengthen sleeves as needed.
• Taper sides of garments for a better fit.
• Lower collars on garments when required.
• Take in or let out trouser waists for proper sizing.
• Shorten/lengthen trousers to meet customer specifications.
• Taper trouser thighs and foot widths for a tailored look.
• Ensure proper sizing of clients' garments.
• Maintain a clean and neat tailor shop.
