About The Position

FUNCTION: AIDS IN THE PROCESSING OF MERCHANDISE. ACTS IN A PROFESSIONAL MANNER THUS CREATING A PLEASANT ENVIRONMENT FOR ALL TO WORK.

Responsibilities

• Check merchandise against purchase orders and packing slips for the correct style number and quantity received.
• Sort merchandise shipped by style, color, and size; splits between stores.
• Circle quantities received for each store, date, and initial purchase order.
• Tag merchandise with correct ALUs, date, classification, and retail price.
• Prepares paperwork to be sent to the stores with merchandise. Always keeps a duplicate for reference.
• Repack merchandise neatly for delivery to stores.
• Log a daily report and turn it into the Tagging Supervisor.
• Standing long periods of time
• Lifting over 50 LBS
