About The Position

Clerk will assist Tag Agency with day-to-day operations as required. This position is an entry level position to learn all policies and procedures required for processing vehicle registrations. NOTE CONFIDENTIALITY IS STRICTLY ENFORCED IN THIS DEPARTMENT.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Light duties to include but not limited to some lifting up to twenty pounds (approx. 5% of job) and various other tasks
Ability to sit for prolonged period of time doing repetitive movements on the computer.
Some bending, stretching, and lifting.
Inside business office setting.

Nice To Haves

Previous tag experience preferred.
Pleasant speaking voice
Good communication skills
Previous cashier experience

Responsibilities

Work in a detailed, organized manner.
Work as a team with staff members.
Assist tribal members with new and renewal registrations.
Schedule appointments.
Assist tribal members by phone with information relating to registration.
Keep track of staff availability.
File documents accurately.
Process incoming/outgoing registration and correspondence.
Accurate data entry/proofreading for title and registrations.
Ability to follow directions in a timely manner.
Familiarity with computer keyboard, Outlook, Excel, Word.
Be able to deal with difficult customers in an appropriate manner so as not to escalate the situation.
Be able to receive money and count return change to customers.
Be able to enter all data into Tag database accurately daily
Perform other duties and projects as required by Administration and Management.
