The Tactical Systems Operator (TSO) position at Leidos involves training personnel in airborne cryptologic operations as part of a Military Intelligence Program supporting the USAF Air Combat Command's ISR mission. The role requires the development and implementation of training materials and curriculum, as well as conducting certification training for Tactical Systems Operators. The instructor will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure training is current and effective, while also assessing emerging technologies for potential inclusion in training programs.

  • Train 361 ISRG personnel in accordance with Operational Tradecraft and Training / Training and Certification / NGW-ITOS certification guidelines for Mode 1, 2, and 3 operators.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement Cryptologic Mission Certification Training material and curriculum according to 361 ISRG training guidance.
  • Utilize and assist in developing scenarios for the Tactical Systems Emulator Aircrew Training Device.
  • Liaise with TSO subject matter experts and tacticians on operational trends and analysis to provide tailored ACCT training.
  • Review, develop, and update TSE scenarios in accordance with the approved Syllabus of Instruction.
  • Provide instruction as an ISR and SIGINT subject matter expert and NSA certified instructor.
  • Track and implement changes to certification requirements.
  • Conduct routine certification training and testing of Air Force Tactical Systems Operators, including classroom instruction and practical training scenarios.
  • Assist with developing and implementing a program of instruction for training TSOs in advanced tactics, techniques, and procedures for collection and exploitation of technological protocols.
  • Assess and evaluate emerging technologies and operational TTPs to support government analysis regarding new equipment and methods in SIGINT training.
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience, or additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Aircrew experience and experience operating SIGINT systems and related equipment preferred.
  • Experience with supporting and analyzing high value target analysis databases.
  • Current TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • Previous experience as an A-STG operator is necessary.
  • Minimum of Mode Instructor Certification in one of Modes 1-3 and Mode Operator Certifications in two of Modes 1-3; ability to obtain Mode Instructor Certifications in all three Modes is required.
  • Thorough understanding of the TSO mission and Mode certification process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
