About The Position

BlueWater Federal is seeking a Tactical Support Engineer to provide comprehensive system support services to SOCOM. This role encompasses various areas including Tactical Software Support, Mapping, Imagery and Geospatial Information System Support, Tactical Network Administration Support, and Training Support and Enhancement. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and operational experience to effectively support mission planning and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline; or Technical School Certificate related to computer systems; or equivalent technical training with relevant experience.
• 2+ years of operational experience with or supporting the assigned Component within the last 8 years.
• 5+ years of operational experience with navigation and mission planning techniques, including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems or mission planning computer systems.
• Experience with communications, mission equipment, and planning techniques for peacetime and wartime special operations missions.
• Familiarity with assigned Components tactical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides.
• Knowledge of assigned Components operations and tactics.
• Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.

• Deliver Training Support and Enhancement.
• Facilitate Upgrade Support for systems.
