About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer - Retail in Concord, CA. This role requires a minimum of four to six years of security experience and candidates must be at least 21 years of age. The Tactical Security Officer will be responsible for observing and surveying the area, providing reports on activity, and ensuring the safety and protection of individuals and property. The position involves physical activity, including patrolling various environments such as retail stores and airports. Candidates with military or law enforcement experience are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Must have a state security license and additional 32hr. BSIS security trainings.
• Must provide documentation of HS Diploma or GED.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have at least four to six years of security experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Must have baton permit, OC spray permit, and handcuff permit.
• Ability to pass an extensive screening process.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift.

Nice To Haves

• Current or former military or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and survey the area, providing reporting on activity at the assigned location.
• Work indoors and outdoors in a variable environment.
• Provide rapid response in critical situations.
• Read and write detailed reports.
• Enforce customer procedures, regulations, and standards as necessary.
• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• React quickly to threats or incidents.
• Detain and search individuals as needed.
• Document incidents and actions taken.
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents.
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
