As a Tactical Radio Embedded Software Engineer for Advanced Electronics Systems, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for designing and building uniquely resilient hardware and software to ensure mission success in contested environments.   • Develop and maintain embedded software applications using C/C++ programming language

  • Document software design, code, and unit tests
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company processes
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
  • Agile experience preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Exceptional experience with C and/or C++
  • Proven experience with low-level driver development
  • Experience with unit test frameworks
  • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C)
  • Signal processing and digital signal processing (DSP)
  • Programming languages such as Rust, Python, MATLAB
  • Advanced Linux operating systems knowledge (Drivers, networking, system services, etc.)
  • Multi-threaded and multi-core programming
  • Network protocols and socket programming
  • Cryptographic techniques and secure boot
  • Power management in embedded systems
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Automated testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) git pipelines
