Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience with the design and development of command and control (C2) systems and data links.
  • 4+ years of experience with information assurance and systems engineering.
  • Experience with software engineering, development, and Agile methodology.
  • Experience with Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) and analysis of new and emerging technologies.
  • Top Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Ability to obtain DoD 8140 IAT II certification within 90 days of hire date.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with emergent technologies.
  • Experience with Tactical Awareness Kit (TAK) family of systems.
  • Experience managing engineering and integrating requirements through DoD processes, architectures, and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Software-defined Radios or Tactical Data Link products.
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • TS/SCI clearance.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy tactical command and control network capabilities for Air Force missions.
  • Evaluate, modernize, and secure tactical data links for unmanned systems.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, specifications, and drawings.
  • Act as subject matter expert in collaboration meetings, including management, design, and technical reviews.
  • Interact directly with clients and stakeholders to identify problems, analyze data, and generate solutions.
  • Develop program-level documentation, including briefings, white papers, and transition plans.
  • Coordinate and facilitate technical exchanges and conduct high-level operational planning.
