About The Position

Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to assist Taco Bell with a variety of tasks such as prepping food in the kitchen, supporting the production of food products that are required, remaining on the line when assigned, cleaning and sanitizing work stations, dishes and production equipment. Open to working multiple stations. Providing excellent customer service and team work. Responsibilities Related to Purpose: Read recipes and/or product directions. Estimate food requirements. Operate a variety of kitchen utensils to weigh, measure, mix ,stir, strain, season, and knead food for cooking, serving, and storing. Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage. Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment following all Taco Bell/Sodexo regulatory rules and procedures. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours a week to a maximum of 20 hours a week.
  • Mandatory one closing a week and a weekend shift either Saturday or Sunday.
  • Hours of operations 10am-1am.
  • Must have Arizona Maricopa County Food Handler's card.
  • Must provide own non-slip shoes and black pants.
  • No nails, acrylics, and/or nail polish allowed.
  • Shirts, nametag and hat will be provided.
  • Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program.
  • Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student.
  • Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University.
  • You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
