About The Position
Lloyd Richards Personnel is hiring a Tack Welder / Helper for full-time, long-term work in a manufacturing environment. This position assists welders and fabricators with tacking, material preparation, and general shop support. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production setting.
Requirements
- Prior manufacturing or shop experience preferred
- Ability to perform basic tack welding
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to stand, lift, and work on your feet
- Reliable transportation and attendance
Responsibilities
- Assist welders with tack welding and weld preparation
- Grind, clean, and prep materials
- Move materials and parts throughout the shop
- Perform general shop labor and cleanup as needed
- Follow safety procedures and shop standards
