Ariat International has an opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tableau Developer Intern to work with our Data Analytics team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data visualization and analytics using Tableau. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, a passion for storytelling through data, and a desire to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

  • Gain practical experience with Tableau in a real-world business context.
  • Exposure to end-to-end BI lifecycle: from data ingestion to dashboard deployment.
  • Work on impactful projects that influence business decisions.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable Tableau solutions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Tableau dashboards and reports.
  • Transform raw data into meaningful insights by designing clear, interactive, and visually compelling visualizations.
  • Perform data validation and testing to ensure accuracy and reliability of dashboards.
  • Optimize Tableau workbooks and data extractions for performance.
  • Assist with ad-hoc data reporting and create one-off visualizations as needed.
  • Participate in other learning opportunities as assigned.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Tableau (or similar data visualization tools) through coursework, projects, or internships.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data quality and usability.
  • Experience with Tableau Public or a Tableau Certification (Desktop Specialist or higher).
  • Exposure to data cleaning and transformation tools (e.g., Excel, Python, or Alteryx).
  • Understanding of basic statistics and data analysis concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, or Google BigQuery).
