About The Position

2nd Shift (3pm - 11pm) Table Operator   Purpose Responsible for removal of composite springs from production molds.   Essential Functions:   Produces quality springs while removing from molds. Must be precise when removing springs to ensure no damage to springs or molds. Lifts and removes springs from mold using a hammer & chisel. Checks temperatures of the molds. Cleans and prepares molds for start of the production process. Must be able to organize all aspects of the process. Perform inspection on product utilizing total quality concepts. Accurately report daily activities and production data as directed. Conduct required quality checks using basic measurement equipment. Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards. Exercise safe working habits while operating machines. Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Team Lead Interact with technical support personnel and support downtime activities. Must possess a high level of attention to details. Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture, participating in safety training sessions, and promptly reporting any safety concerns. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Prior production assembly experience, 1-2 yrs. preferred
  • Ability to work overtime, as production demands require.
  • Must be able to utilize hand tools and may work in a team or independently.
  • Must pass drug and alcohol screen and remain drug free throughout the term of employment.
  • Must follow all safety practices and policies.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
