About The Position

The Table Games Supervisor at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is responsible for overseeing all casino games, managing staff, and ensuring compliance with gaming regulations. This role involves hiring and terminating employees, scheduling staff, and maintaining the integrity of games while providing excellent customer service. The supervisor must also handle disputes, complete reports, and communicate effectively with various departments and guests.

Requirements

  • Previous dealing experience; dealing school, or equivalent.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and engaging presentation skills.
  • Ability to listen and respond to client and management inquiries in a positive and professional manner.
  • Strong mathematical abilities and skills.
  • Ability to obtain/renew all government required licenses or certification (Nevada Gaming Control Board Gaming work Permit).
  • Excellent time management, problem solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and direct all casino games, and supervise employees as well as hiring and terminating employment of said employees.
  • Schedule staff to afford proper coverage levels.
  • Make contact with the Purchasing department, Property Operations and outside vendors for consulting and creating purchase/work orders.
  • Make contact with Nevada Gaming Control Board as necessary.
  • Read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete reports, correspondence, review customer credit, complete internal/external transactions, and communicate with guests and fellow employees.
  • Use a computer to perform player-rating process, review credit/marker requests and to request a fill/credit, or to review remarks screen.
  • Mentally perform mathematical operations quickly and accurately to approve payoffs, verify shift/player/table win/loss.
  • Complete daily/monthly reports and card inventories.
  • Monitor and maintain the integrity of all games in assigned section, both at the dealer and customer levels.
  • Adhere to all game controls and procedures and ensure subordinates comply with same.
  • Enforce and ensure the accuracy of all regulation 6-A requirements, and all State and Corporate gaming regulations.
