About The Position

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the integrity of the Table Games department, correcting player ratings and marker issues/collections. They have a working knowledge of Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, and Poker.

Requirements

• Associates degree preferred; or two or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assigns Dealers to their designated tables/areas.
• Carries out supervisory responsibilities for the Table Games staff.
• Corrects player ratings.
• Corrects marker issues.
• Makes recommendations regarding promotion and/or disciplinary actions.
• Must be available for scheduled work.
• Must exhibit the Family Style Service Model at all times.
• Supervises the Table Games employees, with responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
