About The Position

The Table Games Shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the casino Table Games Pit on an assigned shift.

Requirements

  • The minimum age requirement is twenty-one.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years table game experience with progressive supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Tribal Gaming and MICS regulations as well as the company’s internal controls, policies, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or team members of an organization.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people skills.
  • Must be able to pass all department tests according to table games standards as outline in the Department Policies and Procedures.
  • Must have a working knowledge of Card Counting, Money Management, and Yield Management Systems.
  • Must attend and be certified in all applicable training programs required.
  • Must be able to obtain and retain a gaming license with the Tule River Tribe Gaming Commission.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervises Pit Supervisors on assigned shift and indirectly supervises all Table Games Pit Team Members.
  • Training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Responsible for the rotation and table assignments of Table Games Team Members.
  • In the absence of management, may be responsible for the Table Games operations on assigned shift Implement and ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, and direct personnel in accordance with company policies and objectives.
  • Responsible for the efficient operation of all table games on a particular shift
  • Maintains the highest quality standards in all areas of Guest service, hospitality, and developing players.
  • Informs management of all noteworthy, suspicious, or unusual activity.
  • Facilitates the flow of information throughout the casino.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting players on appropriate forms.
  • Ensures that fills and credits are submitted and retrieved.
  • Responsible for audit, accounting, jackpot, player tracking and Title’s 26 and 31 tracking paperwork.
  • Ensure policy and procedures are applied consistently, equitably and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record.
  • All other departmental duties as assigned.
