About The Position

The Table Games Floorperson at Talking Stick Resort is responsible for overseeing gaming tables to ensure game integrity and provide excellent customer service. This role involves monitoring games, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The position requires strong guest service skills and the ability to handle various gaming-related responsibilities while maintaining a pleasant environment for customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one year Blackjack dealing experience required.
  • One year dealing roulette strongly preferred.
  • One year dealing craps strongly preferred.
  • One year table games supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Good writing and math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
  • Ability to perform duties in a positive and professional manner.
  • Reliability and flexibility in work schedule; willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays if needed.
  • Superior guest service skills required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

  • Observe up to eight gaming tables to preserve game integrity and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Demonstrate strong guest service skills by providing a pleasant gaming experience.
  • Create an atmosphere of hospitality and friendliness toward guests.
  • Make eye contact and greet guests by name, if known, and thank them for playing when they leave.
  • Understand and comply with department, company, and gaming regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Promote the Salt River Rewards Club and accurately rate guests in their section.
  • Report all significant player rating sessions to the Pit Supervisor.
  • Immediately notify the Pit Supervisor of customer-related issues and ensure they are fully briefed about all problems and situations.
  • Continually observe games in progress for possible irregularities.
  • Ensure accuracy of Table Games inventory when opening and closing games.
  • Ensure adherence to dealer procedures and inform the Pit Supervisor of any deviations.
  • Relay pertinent information regarding daily business to incoming relief.
  • Assist with training new dealers to comply with Table Games policies and procedures.
  • Attend all required training sessions.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity as defined under Title 31 regulation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X.
