Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Professional dealing experience required and must have at least one of the following combinations of game knowledge:
• One major game and at least one minor game offered at the Horseshoe (Horseshoe will teach you a minor game if you don’t already know one)
• Two major games offered at the Horseshoe (Horseshoe may be willing to teach you a second major game if you only know one)
• Any combination of four currently offered at the Horseshoe
• Major Games are currently: Live Poker, Craps, Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat
• Minor Games are currently: Three Card Poker, I Luv Suits, Ultimate Texas, Mississippi Stud, Pai Gow Poker, and Spanish 21 Blackjack

Responsibilities

• Deal games, payout winnings, exchange currency for chips and inform guests of game rules.
• Change over deck of cards or dice, inspect and mix cards.
• Verify bank roll fills with the supervisor and security personnel.
• Ensure protection of game; maintain continuous inspection of cards or dice, ensure betting in compliance with gate rules and minimums set.
• Close game, sort cards, balance rack, count chips, and sign off with the supervisor.
• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Other duties as assigned.
