About The Position

The position involves conducting assigned games according to established procedures, exchanging cash for gaming chips, and ensuring proper guest service at the gaming tables. The role requires interaction with guests, providing assistance and information about table game play, and maintaining a rapport with guests. The dealer must adhere to all company policies and procedures and complete additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must have dealing experience in Roulette and/or Craps.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have broad knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and procedures, including good gaming security.
  • Previous guest service experience preferred.
  • Strong guest service orientation, able to handle monetary transactions with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Manual dexterity to handle numerous decks of cards and chips.
  • Able to add, multiply, divide, and subtract accurately to figure payoffs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assigned game according to procedure.
  • Exchange cash for gaming chips according to procedure.
  • Inform the Floorperson of any requests or unusual play.
  • Issue the proper amount of gaming chips to guests after credit authorization procedures.
  • Acknowledge, greet, and converse with all guests, offering assistance and information about table game play.
  • Strive to build and maintain rapport with table games guests.
  • Act as a role model and present oneself as a credit to Harrah's, encouraging others to do the same.
  • Adhere to all department/company policies and procedures.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.
