About The Position

We are a full-service HVAC, building automation, chiller, and retrofit contractor with a reputation for combining high-quality consulting services with customized energy solutions. Our integrated, single-source solutions include turnkey in-house capabilities with design assistance, as well as engineering applications and automated control systems. This role focuses on driving sales of TAB services and solutions to commercial and industrial clients, ensuring optimal HVAC system performance and compliance with industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC Testing, Adjusting & Balancing and Commissioning of commercial, industrial, and healthcare buildings.
  • Relevant technical experience in the Testing, Adjusting & Balancing and Commissioning field.
  • Strong customer presentation skills, sales aptitude, and financial acumen, including cost modeling for sales proposals.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Candidate should possess a competitive nature and be articulate.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, and building owners.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential TAB leads through networking, cold calling, attending industry events, and monitoring construction publications.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve TAB/Cx department goals and expand market share for TAB services.
  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the full sales cycle for TAB projects.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure accurate scope and execution.
  • Stay current on TAB standards (NEBB, AABC, TABB) and HVAC industry trends.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Agreement and alignment with EMCOR Mesa’s written philosophy of sales, established processes, and procedures related to sales.
  • Prepare professional and accurate bid proposals, scope of work documents, and competitive pricing for TAB projects.
  • Making phone calls, visits, attending conferences, utilizing the Internet, and leveraging existing relationships.
  • Working with the TAB/Cx Director, Sales Manager and Branch Manager along with other Team members to review and improve account programs and processes to meet targeted objectives.
  • Preparing and delivering client presentations.
  • Developing sales at defined margin levels to attain market share.
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to your growth and development, including attending product and sales training events, and participating at all professional training provided by EMCOR/Mesa.
  • Reach your written, annual sales plans.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
