TA SPECIALIST PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: The Recruiter is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, evaluate, and hire high-quality talent across the organization. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver consistent, positive candidate experience while ensuring hiring practices align with company policies, employment laws, and business objectives. The Recruiter focuses exclusively on recruiting execution, talent pipeline development to support operational continuity and long-term workforce planning. This role will focus on high-volume plant hiring while also managing recruitment efforts for technical, professional, and other skilled positions as business needs require.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent recruiting experience.
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporation, agency, or high-volume environment.
  • The successful candidate must demonstrate alignment with the Furst-McNess culture and consistently model the company’s five pillars; Safety, Trust, Collaboration, Quality, and Customer Service, in daily interactions and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously while meeting hiring deadlines.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system and standard recruiting technologies.
  • Strong interviewing, sourcing, and candidate relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and compliant hiring practices.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and maintain confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience recruiting with manufacturing, agriculture, or similar operational environments preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and pre-hire communication.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, compensation alignment, and recruitment timelines.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using job boards, referrals, community outreach, and industry partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Conduct structured phone screens and coordinate interviews to assess candidate qualifications, cultural alignment, and overall fit.
  • Ensure professional, timely, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant documentation within the applicant tracking system and HRIS.
  • Track recruiting metrics such as candidate flow, offer acceptance rate, source effectiveness; provide regular reporting to HR Leadership.
  • Support employment branding initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at job fairs, school partnerships, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to ensure smooth onboarding transitions for new hires.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve recruiting processes, tools, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Requires periodic travel to plant locations and other company sites to support recruiting activities, hiring events, and on-site partnership with operational leaders.
