This postdoctoral position focuses on conducting studies related to the gut-brain axis and gut microbiome in the context of alcohol use disorder, utilizing both mouse models and human subjects. The role is part of a collaborative effort involving the UConn Alcohol Research Center, the Laboratory of Microbiome Science, and Jackson Laboratory. The research will employ multi-OMICS methodologies and integrate experimental and clinical approaches, supported by the NRSA-funded T32 Institutional Research Training Program at UConn Health.
