The McNair Scholars Program Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the successful implementation of the federally funded Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program at Old Dominion University. The Coordinator works collaboratively with program staff, faculty mentors, and campus partners to coordinate and deliver individualized services that prepare first-generation, income-eligible, and underrepresented students for graduate and doctoral study. This position is responsible for coordinating daily operations, maintaining student records, and implementing high-impact services including advising, graduate school preparation, research engagement, and academic support. The Coordinator manages a caseload of participants and supports them through tailored academic planning, mentoring, and enrichment opportunities aligned with the McNair grant objectives.
