Requirements

• Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
• Frequent walking required.
• Ability to see fine details during some functions.
• Fine motor skills (finger/hand manipulation) required.
• Occasionally lift weights over 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in mechanical work or automotive repair.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install all major components in a truck's manual transmission.
• Measure clutches, gears, cast iron, and truck parts for the manual unit.
• Handle (lift, transport, etc.) parts, gears, castings, complete assemblies (axle/main axle) weighing over 5 pounds.
• Examine/inspect threads, pumps, gears, paint jobs, and other subcomponents.
• Use a variety of tools ranging from hand tools to impact guns.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
