The Systems Test Engineer at FormFactor, Inc. is responsible for testing and validating complex cryogenic systems and subsystems. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer requirements and maintain high quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hardware, electrical, and software testing, along with a solid understanding of testing methodologies and tools.

  • Develop and execute test plans for complex hardware and electrical systems and subsystems
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects and work with development teams to implement solutions
  • Document test results and provide feedback to development teams
  • Support overall test strategy, including test procedure development
  • Occasional travel may be required for performing customer site acceptance tests
  • A Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with relevant experience gained in school
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools
  • Experience with hardware, electrical, and software testing
  • Experience with complex system testing and troubleshooting
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Cryogenic testing experience not required but highly desired
  • Experience working with or within R&D environments and/or complex or high-tech manufacturing
  • Experience with developing and executing test plans and test SOPs
