As a Systems Test Engineer for our Space team at Anduril Industries, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, integration, and testing of space systems, including qualification and flight hardware. Your primary responsibility will be to execute tests against derived requirements while ensuring safety throughout the testing process. This position involves working on a variety of space systems, from supporting modules to technology-differentiated payloads and full satellite systems. You will also be tasked with the development, maintenance, and upgrading of test support hardware, which is essential for the success of our ongoing funded programs within Anduril's Space Business Line. These programs focus on building and fielding resilient, software-defined spacecraft systems across multiple mission threads, working closely with mission partners and operators to deliver reliable capabilities on operationally-relevant timelines to address complex challenges faced by the Department of Defense (DOD) and Intelligence Community (IC). In this role, you will lead and own the integration and test campaigns for various components, including modules, payloads, and complete satellite systems. You will collaborate with multiple teams to identify testing requirements, including verification and validation plans. Additionally, you will develop procedures for the prototype, qualification, and acceptance of space systems flight hardware, as well as maintain the necessary mechanical and electrical ground support equipment. Your responsibilities will also include developing and maintaining automated test scripts for space systems hardware, creating and analyzing metrics for debugging and monitoring, and triaging issues to determine root causes and corrective actions. This position is integral to ensuring the success of our space systems and requires a strong engineering background and problem-solving skills.
