This is a hands-on, technical lead role where you will work closely with Operations, Production, and R&D on continuing to develop our production antenna system test capabilities while improving existing test procedures and methods. As a subject matter expert, you will provide technical support across the different teams and products ensuring our test processes and systems are making accurate and efficient measurements. In addition, you will be involved with developing test strategies for new products and technologies. Do you thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment? Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience and a demonstrated understanding of antenna system measurements.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other engineering discipline
  • Strong understanding of RF/satellite communication and antenna theory/principles.
  • Capable of providing technical support across multiple and simultaneous STE developments
  • Strong and demonstrated RF Test experience, including various RF test equipment required to support antenna system testing such as spectrum analyzers, etc.
  • Fundamental understanding of RF engineering principles such as linearity, NF, Gain and VSWR
  • Experience and familiarity of RF components such as waveguide, cabling, power dividers and terminations
  • Problem-solving skills to isolate and resolve issues to keep progress on track
  • Aptitude to provide contingency work arounds to preserve schedules.
  • Experience providing schedule estimates for both new proposals and on-going projects.
  • Leadership, communication, organizational and management skills are essential
  • Demonstrated design discipline and rigor
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Up to 10% travel.
  • Ability to work onsite in our Duluth, GA office.

Nice To Haves

  • Master of Science in Engineering
  • Previous experience working with millimeter-wave bands
  • Phased array antenna experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with STE documentation to include, BOM structure, build processes, make vs buy trade-offs, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing development processes including automation
