System Technician Position We are looking for a skilled System Technician to join the team and deliver exceptional service to clients. This isn’t just a support role; it’s your chance to make IT personal . You’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, tackling a wide range of technical challenges, building lasting relationships, and keeping businesses running smoothly. You’ll work alongside a collaborative, growth-minded team that values learning, ownership, and happiness, all while improving the way our clients experience technology.

Requirements

  • Strong experience troubleshooting Windows and macOS workstations, printers, and peripheral devices
  • Experienced in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts
  • Estimate of 1+ year recent experience in a similar position
  • Client-focused and ownership mindset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative, agile team player
  • Can effectively self-manage multiple tasks, tickets or projects simultaneously
  • You are an impassioned learner and always open to receive training, coaching and feedback for continuous improvement
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Extended periods of sitting, standing, typing, and talking
  • Ability to travel (by car) to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve support tickets following documented processes and service standards
  • Provide best in class client support through phone, email, chat, and remote sessions
  • Provide on-site support at client offices as-needed in the Dayton region (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits depending on client needs)
  • Effective cross functional collaboration to ensure timely and accurate resolutions
  • Resolve hardware, software, and network issues on workstations, servers, and mobile devices
  • Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation (once every couple of months on average)
  • Assist with project implementations as needed
  • Document processes, solutions, and client environments in our knowledge base
