Requirements

3 years of fire alarm and security experience
Experience with electronic testing devices
Pass drug and background screenings
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to meet state licensing requirements and vendor certifications
Valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

NICET preferred
Fire Life Safety, Security, or Low Voltage experience
Fire Alarm, Access, and Video Manufacturer’s certifications
Proficiency working in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of IT functionality

Responsibilities

Inspect fire alarm systems and their components to ensure proper functionality
Service and troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems to diagnose problems and identify solutions
Install fire alarm and security systems and products, including; Alarms, Communication, Intrusion, Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intercom, and Monitoring
Install fire alarm and security systems per drawings
Ensure customers understand the functionality of their system
Interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a professional manner
Demonstrate an understanding of and follow all safety regulations and practices
Open-minded willingness to continual learning
Follow all Koorsen policies, procedures, and core values
Any other duties deemed appropriate by management
