About The Position

This role is for a Systems Technician who will contribute to specific programs and projects by developing technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. The position involves providing installation and troubleshooting support for systems applications and related peripheral hardware, deploying new hardware and software, and upgrading existing installations. The technician will also prepare and maintain documentation for computer systems and operations, provide incident response, and perform complex customer support tasks. There is potential to serve as a team or task lead and coach less-experienced professionals. Requirements

  • Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Top Secret/SCI
  • Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph
  • Skills: Communication, Customer Service, Information Technology (IT)
  • 8+ years of related experience
  • US Citizenship Required
  • AA/AS degree
  • Security+ CE certification
  • PWS 9.1 certification

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the completion of specific programs and projects
  • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
  • Provides installation of and troubleshooting support for systems applications and related peripheral hardware
  • Deploys all new hardware, software, and the upgrade of existing installations
  • Prepares and maintains all documentation for processes and procedures related to computer systems and operations
  • Provides incident response and performs complex customer support tasks
  • May serve as a team or task lead
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
