Springfield Public Schools is seeking a Systems Technician 1 to assist in the administration of the district inventory and asset management system. The role involves collaborating on joint technical projects, escalating technology issues as needed, and adhering to district technology standards and procedures. The technician will install, configure, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain technology-related equipment and software, instruct staff on technology-related software and equipment, and provide support for technology issues within the district. The position requires responding onsite and remotely for technology-related problem resolution, assisting in the intake, repair, and return of devices to buildings in a centralized repair model, and supporting the implementation of new computer projects and hardware installations. The technician will utilize the district ticketing system to document and account for time and resolution of work, and work collaboratively with all technology staff members and vendors.
