About The Position

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned management consulting and digital transformation company, is looking for a highly motivated Systems Support Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting a federal client. This position will troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software and setup errors for field engineers, technicians, and customers.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree and 5 years of experience in Information Technology or in a related area.
  • Requires Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) certifications.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within Information Technology Service Management.
  • Experience performing a variety of complicated tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Create workaround procedures when standard procedures have failed and ensures issues are resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources.
  • Develop, implement, and improve processes, techniques, and disciplines to coordinate and carry out the activities and processes required to deliver and manage services.
  • Implement processes to ensure ongoing management and control of the day-to-day activities and technology that is used to deliver and support services.
