As a Systems Support Apprentice at IBM, you will work alongside experienced engineers and mentors to support client systems. This apprenticeship program is designed to help you develop essential skills and competencies in a collaborative environment, with a focus on hands-on application of knowledge in hardware and systems support. The program is recognized by the Department of Labor and culminates in a nationally-recognized credential, preparing you for potential full-time roles at IBM upon completion.

  • Support client systems under the guidance of experienced engineers and mentors.
  • Apply hardware knowledge and experience using the latest tools and technologies.
  • Complete specific learning hours and on-the-job training as outlined in the apprenticeship program.
  • Collaborate with project teams to demonstrate new knowledge and competencies.
  • Willingness to complete the requirements of the apprenticeship program.
  • Some knowledge or experience with Operating Systems like Windows and Linux.
  • Understanding of general networking and infrastructure fundamentals.
  • Experience in server or storage management.
