POSITION SUMMARY The Network Administrator is responsible for providing and supporting the technology tools needed by employees and customers of the Bank. This includes the planning, developing, installing, configure, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Administration 50% Assist in managing projects that include hardware and software installations, upgrades and modifications through clear communication skills and good technical guidance. Identify and communicate issues or potential problems to the IT Team and help to develop solutions. Patch Management – regularly perform patch deployment to keep computers, phones, etc. up to date. Assist in creating and the maintenance of contingency plan to ensure continuity of operations in the event of unexpected interruptions in computer operations. Review user accounts, access logs, and maintenance reports to assure compliance. Create and maintain user accounts and assigns appropriate permissions to services and data access. Create and maintain documentation of all hardware, software, and IT resources. Ensure network security. Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues. Customer Service 40% Provide support to internal staff and Bank customers in a professional, courteous, and timely manner. Communicate network issues to other employees and management. Other 10% Ability to identify and effectively troubleshoot issues. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops and reviewing professional publications. Perform all other duties as assigned.
