About The Position

The Systems Specialist is responsible for identifying and resolving operational issues related to hardware and software systems, ensuring continuous system availability for users. This role involves coordinating with third-party vendors, monitoring various systems, and providing training to warehouse workers on system usage. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts and make independent decisions as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in Computer Science or Information Technology.
• Experience in problem solving and documentation.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assists the Systems & Industrial Engineer (SIE) in monitoring multiple WMS operating systems to ensure 24/7 availability.
• Understands reporting metrics, identifies concerns, and communicates with leadership in a timely manner.
• Responds to service alert messages, creates incident tickets, and drives issues to resolution.
• Troubleshoots, maintains, and updates equipment used with WMS systems and hardware.
• Assists the SIE with job scheduling duties, including job monitoring and handling abends.
• Trains warehouse workers on hardware and software systems, updating procedures and instructional documents.
