The Systems Security Manager - Identity and Access Management (IAM) at UW Health is a pivotal role that focuses on cultivating relationships across the enterprise to influence security strategies while aligning with business goals. This position requires a strong emphasis on mentoring and developing a team of talented IAM professionals, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles. The manager will utilize financial acumen for general contract review, departmental budgeting, business justifications, and return on investment (ROI) considerations, all while assessing risk and financial impact. The role also involves innovating and refining IAM solutions and processes with a strong focus on customer service, ensuring that the needs of the organization and its stakeholders are met effectively. In this position, the manager will provide in-depth knowledge of IAM best practices, including Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC), and will work with systems such as SailPoint, Ping Identity, Epic, and Imprivata. The role is designed for a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, with core business hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for both in-person and remote work, which will be discussed during the interview process. Additionally, the manager will have on-call responsibilities, ensuring that IAM systems are monitored and maintained effectively at all times.
