Job Summary: Systems Security Engineering creates holistic security solutions leveraging Cyber Security, Software Assurance and Supply Chain Risk Management to support Program Protection Implementation on embedded weapons systems. Join our highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, which will directly contribute to protecting our nation and our Warfighters. This is an onsite position in Fullerton, CA.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with tools, such as Linux or Python
  • Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Specific majors: Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related STEM discipline
  • Knowledge of data analysis, modeling and simulation, statistics, and various computational techniques for complex multi-variable problems.
  • Quick learner and motivated
  • Experience with Linux Bash and Python scripting
  • Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH
  • Knowledge/course work of radar, signal & image processing, digital communications, control theories, estimation theory and/or electro optics
  • Current/Active DoD security clearance or SSBI

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results
  • Create patch artifacts such as patch media and information assurance posture reports; run regression tests on the system
  • Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD approved scanning and assessment tools such as Nessus, STIG,
  • Evaluate STIG, and/or RADIX.
  • Create and maintain Linux Bash and Python scripts
