About the Team You will be joining the Systems Sales Engineer Team at Nutanix, which is known for its dynamic and customer-centric approach. You will report to the Manager of Systems Engineering, who is dedicated to providing mentorship and guidance to help team members thrive in their roles. This manager's leadership style emphasizes support and empowerment, fostering a collaborative atmosphere where everyone can grow and succeed. The work setup for this role is primarily remote, allowing Systems Sales Engineers to engage directly with customers and partners in their respective territories without needing to go into the office. The role requires travel up to 30% of the time, predominantly within the territory. This travel is essential for building relationships with customers, partners, and colleagues, ensuring that you can connect and deliver solutions effectively while driving business success.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on technical aptitude with adaptability to market demands
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Generative AI
  • Advanced virtualization knowledge and/or enterprise application expertise
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and execute detailed action plans

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate Nutanix solutions' features and articulate benefits to influence customer purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop account plans and tailored proposals aligned with customer goals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, positioning as a trusted resource.
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback to enhance Nutanix offerings and drive product improvements.
  • Conduct proof of concept executions, including the physical setup and configuration of hardware in datacenters.
  • Work closely with the presales team to achieve technical wins efficiently and professionally.
  • Manage multiple projects, determine urgency, and deliver on detailed action plans to meet customer needs.
  • Continuously strive for personal and professional development, aligning with Nutanix's core values of collaboration and innovation.
