About The Position
The Systems/Reliability Engineer 3 position at 22nd Century Technologies, Inc. is a critical role focused on the aerospace and defense sectors. This position is responsible for evaluating customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements. The engineer will integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility across all physical, functional, and program interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of system architecture and the ability to perform various analyses to optimize the total system of systems. In this role, the engineer will conduct analyses that encompass affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance, and other quality factors. The goal is to develop a preferred configuration that ensures mission success. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for developing the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, and risk management strategies, as well as technology readiness assessments. This position is a temporary role with the potential for hire after 12 months, offering a pay range of $60 to $75 per hour without benefits. The work will be conducted during the first shift in St. Louis, Missouri, and requires a bachelor's degree along with 2-8 years of relevant experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and requirement specification development.
